Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through the Albertine Jewelry website (albertinejewelry.com), operated by Albertine Jewelry, Tel Aviv, Israel. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in their entirety.
Albertine Jewelry reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
2. Products
All Albertine pieces are handcrafted in solid 14k or 18k gold in our Tel Aviv studio. Because each creation is made by hand, slight variations in texture, finish, and proportion are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects. Natural gemstones will vary in color, inclusion, and character — this is the nature of the material.
Product images are as accurate as photographic reproduction allows. Minor differences between the image and the physical piece are not grounds for return.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in USD. For your convenience, prices are also available in ILS and EUR via the currency converter on our website. Prices are exclusive of applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
We accept payment via PayPal and major credit cards. As all Albertine pieces are made to order, payment is processed in full at the time of order, with the exception of bespoke commissions, for which a 50% deposit is required to begin the work and the remaining 50% is due prior to shipment.
Albertine Jewelry reserves the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
4. Orders
An order is confirmed upon receipt of payment and a confirmation email from Albertine Jewelry. All pieces are made to order. Production timelines will be communicated at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.
5. Shipping
We ship worldwide from Tel Aviv, Israel, via private courier with full tracking and signature on delivery. Delivery typically takes 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of payment. Albertine Jewelry is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, courier disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handover to the courier.
6. Duties & Taxes
All orders are shipped with import duties and taxes unpaid. For customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, and all other international destinations, applicable duties and taxes will be collected at the point of delivery by the courier. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in your order total. Duties and taxes are non-refundable.
If you have questions about charges specific to your country, please reach out before placing your order.
7. Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final. Albertine Jewelry does not accept returns or exchanges.
As all Albertine pieces are made to order, most orders are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection law. Where a piece has been made to your specifications or personalized, cancellation is not possible once production has begun. For any questions, please contact us before placing your order.
8. Bespoke Commissions
Bespoke commissions are governed by a separate commission agreement issued at the start of each project. The following terms apply to all bespoke work in the absence of a specific agreement.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed commission price is due upon confirmation of the design brief. The remaining 50% is due prior to shipment of the completed piece.
Design modifications requested after production has begun may incur additional charges. Cancellations after production has begun forfeit the deposit in full.
Bespoke pieces are not subject to return or exchange under any circumstances.
9. Intellectual Property
All content published on this website, including but not limited to jewelry designs, photographs, illustrations, text, logos, collection names, and brand identity, is the exclusive intellectual property of Albertine Jewelry and is protected under Israeli law and applicable international intellectual property conventions, including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.
The designs of Albertine Jewelry pieces constitute original artistic works. Reproduction, imitation, copying, or adaptation of any Albertine design, in whole or in part, whether for commercial or personal purposes, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.
Unauthorized use of Albertine's designs, imagery, or brand identity may result in legal action.
10. Limitation of Liability
Albertine Jewelry's liability in connection with any purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
